Mino Care (we, us) operates www.minocare.co, the main homepage for Mino Care. For privacy questions, contact info@minocare.ca.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.minocare.co, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights. It covers visitors who browse the site and people who contact us or sign up for our newsletter.

When you move on to a country or region site to book or access care, that site’s privacy policy applies to the information you provide there.

3. Information we collect

• Information you provide: name, email, and any details you include when you contact us or sign up for our newsletter.
• Automatically collected technical data: IP address, browser, device, and request data processed by our hosting provider to deliver, secure, and operate the site (see Section 8).

We do not process bookings or collect personal health information through this website.

4. Why we collect it

• To respond to your inquiries.
• To send you our newsletter and updates, with your consent and an unsubscribe option.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.

5. Consent

We collect and use your personal information with your consent, which you provide when you contact us or sign up for our newsletter. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 9), subject to legal and contractual limits.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who host and operate the site on our behalf (for example Google), bound by confidentiality and data protection terms.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Website inquiries are handled through Google Workspace, which may process and store these communications outside Canada. Public website content is delivered through Firebase Hosting’s global content delivery network, and our hosting provider may process technical request data outside Canada. Personal health records are managed separately through our country or region care sites under their own privacy policies.

7. Storage, security, and retention

We protect your personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, consistent with applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

• Security: information is encrypted in transit using industry standard protocols (HTTPS and TLS) and encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel on a need to know basis through authentication and role based access controls. Our hosting provider maintains physical and network security for its servers.
• Retention: we keep your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing info@minocare.ca.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use optional analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider processes technical request data to deliver, secure, and operate the site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings.

9. Your rights

Under applicable Canadian privacy law you may access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent and request deletion (subject to legal limits), and ask how your information has been used or disclosed. 10. Children

The site is intended for adult users and is not directed at children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The last updated date will reflect changes, and we will communicate material changes through the website or by email where appropriate.
