Academic Partner Photo

Academic Partner

Knowledge translation & culturally safe research.

Mino Care partners with academic institutions and researchers to build the evidence base for culturally safe care — developing tools, data, and opportunities that directly improve health outcomes for communities disproportionately experiencing harm.

Research & Knowledge Translation

Co-develop tools, data, and opportunities for culturally safe research that translates into real improvements in healthcare practice, education, and policy.

Community-Centred Inquiry

Research grounded in lived experiences of Black and racialized communities — designed with community, not just about community — to address root causes of health disparities.

Education & Practice Tools

Build educational resources and clinical tools that equip providers with the knowledge to deliver culturally safe, respectful care that improves community well-being.

Who We Are

A community built on justice & care.

Mino Care, formerly Mommy Monitor Incorporated, is a culturally safe, anti-racist, patient-centred perinatal care organization. We serve as a hub where patients access crucial expertise — all in one place.

Community Care

We actively work to dismantle racism in healthcare — a space where Black and racialized communities feel seen, heard, and respected.

Anti-Racist Care

Every decision centres the patient. Your values, preferences, and lived experience guide the care you receive — not the system's convenience.

System Change

We partner with institutions to drive structural improvements, ensuring culturally safe care becomes the standard — not the exception.

Who We Are

Why "Mino Care"?

We are a community of health practitioners and advocates, united in our mission to address the unique health disparities facing Black and racialized communities during pregnancy and beyond.
